Contestants must be at least 18 years old and under 27 years of age on February 1, 2009.

Contestants must be at least 15 years old and under 19 years of age on February 1, 2009.
-No height or weight requirement. No talent or previous experience required.
-Contestants cannot be married, have never been married and have never had a marriage annulled.
-Contestants cannot be a parent by birth, adoption or any other way, and cannot be pregnant. If any of these conditions change, they need notify the Preliminary Director immediately.
-They may not have participated in a previous national Miss USA pageant. They may have previous experience with preliminary pageants in Florida or any other state.
-They need to be a female citizen of the United States.
-They need to be available for their reigning year after they win as well as for the state competitions: Miss Florida USA is held in July and Miss Florida Teen USA in October, in Hollywood Fl.
-Delegates must have NO convictions for misdemeanors or felonies and NO pending charges against them, including DIU's.
-Contestants must be of good health and moral character.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Please e-mail us at director@missnaplesusa.com and request an application package for the pageant you wish to participate in. Then:
1. Fill out and sign ALL the forms we send to you. Have your parents sign the parental consent form if you are under 21 (this is very important and we will contact your parents once we receive your application).
2. Gather two forms of identification. If you were born in another country, you will need proof of citizenship and/or naturalization. Submit copies of these.
3. Include ONE head-to-toe color photo of yourself: one paper copy and one digital copy sent by email or saved on a disc. This is VERY important. It does NOT have to be done by a professional photographer but it DOES have to be high resolution (200+ dpi). Include also TWO casual photos of yourself.
4. Include a check or money order payable to EYES WIDE OPEN LLC for the amount of $350. You may also pay this fee with a credit card.

In order to complete your registration and become an official contestant, all of the above need to be submitted on time. Incomplete application packages or incomplete registration fee (not paid in full) will not be accepted. No refunds.
